It's Frustrating...

I'll get to what's frustrating in a moment, as I lead up to it. Two Friday's ago, I went to the local AMC Theatres (as mentioned on a blog post) to see Wrath of the Titans and Mirror, Mirror. I happened to go when the theater first opened. Since it first opened, I also was just about the first to use the main's men's restroom.

Upon entering the main men's restroom the first thing you noticed was the foul smell, because there was at least one toilet that was clogged up with (for a lack of better word) "poop" in the toilet. I sent AMC an email about it, and that's all I was expecting from it.

Little did I know, an AMC manager personally responded to my email, and didn't just apologize, but offered to send me two movie passes as an apology, to get me to comeback. I posted this on my Facebook as a status update, and was thankful for such a thing.

My father (whom I live with, along with two of my brothers) found about the passes, but didn't say anything about them when talking on the phone earlier this week. Two days later (which is today), I get a letter from AMC, and I didn't feel like telling him what was inside the envelope, primarily because he already knew, and for his tone of question "what did you win, or did you get a job?"

Here's the frustrating and upsetting part of the whole thing. While taking my younger brother out driving, he thought it was alright to bash away. For some odd reason he thinks he's entitled to a ticket because he was with me when I went to the movies. There is one thing wrong with that. I saw Wrath of the Titans and Mirror, Mirror alone. There is more, but I don't feel like sharing in a blog post.

Lastly though, AMC's response in my opinion went above and beyond in this instance, and I couldn't be more grateful for the two tickets and the coupons for sodas and drinks.
