Those two were Alex Cross and Lincoln. I happened to see Alex Cross in theaters yesterday, and Lincoln in theaters today. As for why I didn't see Alex Cross today, well the answer to that would be yesterday was the movie's last day at my local theaters. Having said that, if you feel like seeing a cheap action flick and at the very least being entertained for a few hours, then I recommend the movie. The movie stars Tyler Perry and Matthew Fox, and in my opinion, Matthew Fox was the star of the movie. To be honest, I felt the characters could have used better/more character development, and if it had, the movie probably would have been better than it was.
As for Lincoln, it's worth seeing while it's out in theaters. The movie stars Daniel Day Lewis (whom is likely to get nominated for Best Actor at the Academy Awards (just a hunch) as Lincoln, Sally Field as Lincoln's wife, Tommy Lee Jones (whom might get a Supporting Actor nod), and a small role played by Joesph Gordon-Levitt. (At least I think that's his name, the guy in Looper, Premium Rush, and The Dark Knight Rises, all in the same year by the way). The movie starts off 2 months after Lincon's re-election, and deals with the ending of the civil war, and the passage of the 13th ammendment, all of which of course centered around Lincoln.
There's not much else to say about the movie, other than it will probably get nominated for best picture (again, just a hunch).
Now as for why I saw two movies in two days, rather than the same day, that's because I've seen just about everything there is to see at my local theaters, and the only movies showing are ones I'm not interested in.
