Alright, so there is (winning free tickets to go to the movies), but still getting to see a movie before it opens is pretty neat (to say the least). That was the case tonight as I got to see Parental Guidance (the new movie starring Billy Crystal and others) that's due out on Christmas. As for how I got to see it ahead of time, well Regal sent out emails to Crown Club members earlier this week, and I clicked and was able to reserve 4 tickets at the local theater.
The move itself, largely in the beginning, it felt like a Billy Crystal flick (he had all the best lines, or at least I thought), then Bette Midler, and then the movie struck a balance halfway through and rode it to the end. Is it an award contender? No. However, it is a good comedy/family movie and I recommend it.
