Well not really, but there is a new movie starring Sam Worthington and Elizabeth Banks that came out today, and unfortunately was the only one I saw today. Technically, I have seen two movies that have come out today, as I did see The Grey a few weeks ago, via screening, but anyways, back to this film.
This film is very similar to the movie Phone Booth, being that a majority of the film takes place in a phone booth, only with this film, the majority of the film takes place on a ledge of a hotel. The plot of the film is an ex-cop (Worthington) has been framed for a crime he did not commit, and Banks (a negotiator, or a cop who's role is to talk potential jumpers down) is brought in to talk with Nick Cassidy (Worthington), to get him down. Meanwhile, in a building directly across from the hotel, is Nick's brother, and his girlfriend (Nick's brother, not Nick's) attempt to steal the item that Nick was accused of stealing, from the man that setup Nick.
I was hooked on the film, but to be honest, there's a scene in the film (towards the end) where the film loses credibility, but won't effect the way you view the film (at least it didn't for me). I'd recommend this film, for someone looking for an escape, and nothing more. If the choice is between this one and the Grey, I'd go for the Grey.
